IQ Max

Measure · train · measure again

Measure what your mind actually does.

IQ Max reads how your mind is working right now, then builds a daily training loop around the faculties with room left in them. The method comes from published research, and so do the limits we are upfront about.

The premise

The brain adapts to what you ask of it.

Challenge it in the same places often enough and the change shows up where we can measure it. That is the entire premise, and it is a narrow one on purpose: repeated, targeted load produces measurable improvement on the faculty being loaded.

Everything IQ Max does follows from it. Find where the load should go, apply it in short doses, and read the result back against your own baseline instead of somebody else’s.

Progress varies between people, and it varies within one person from month to month. We show you yours, not an average.

Illustrative shape

SESSIONSMEASURED SCORE

A plot, not a decoration, and deliberately unnumbered. It shows the shape a training curve takes. It is not a promise about yours.

The method

How you actually max it.

Four steps, run on a loop. None of them is clever on its own. The gains live in the repetition and in keeping the difficulty honest.

01

Take the reading

Short tests, each isolating a single faculty and scored on its own terms. What comes back is a shape, showing where you are strong and where you are not, rather than one blunt number.

02

Train at the edge

Your plan targets the faculties with room in them. Every session ramps until you are failing part of the time, because the band just past your current ceiling is the one that produces change.

03

Short, and most days

A few focused minutes most days moves more than one long session a week. Frequency and spacing do the work here, not heroic effort.

04

Take the reading again

Re-run the same tasks and compare against your own baseline. That is how you tell a real change from a good day, and how the plan knows what to give you next.

How a reading is reported

Every result lands in one of five ordered bands against a reference distribution. The scale runs monotone to warm rather than red to green, because nothing in a cognitive profile should read as a failure.

Published research

What the literature actually supports.

The findings the product is built on. Real papers, real numbers, and the caveat that goes with all of them: these are group-level results, not an individual guarantee.

Working memory responds to training.

Across a meta-analysis of working-memory training trials, trained groups outperformed untrained controls on short-term and working-memory tasks they had never practised. Small-to-moderate, and replicated widely. This is the effect the training loop is built on.

How much you gain depends on where you start.

In a controlled trial, baseline performance and age predicted the size of the training gain. Which is exactly why the plan is built from your own readings instead of a fixed curriculum handed to everybody.

The same minutes, spread out, are worth more.

Distributed practice beat massed practice across a large quantitative synthesis of the recall literature. The daily session is short by design, and the interval between sessions is part of the method rather than a scheduling convenience.

Why the routine matters

Consistency is the mechanism.

The principles below are why the app asks for a few minutes daily rather than an hour on the weekend. They are also the parts people skip, which is usually why nothing moves.

01

Distributed, not crammed

Ten minutes a day for a week beats seventy minutes on Sunday. Consolidation happens in the gaps, so the gaps are scheduled rather than left to chance.

02

Difficult, on purpose

Training that stays comfortable stops producing change. Difficulty tracks your live performance and holds you near the edge of what you can currently do.

03

Measured, not felt

Effort you cannot measure is effort you cannot steer. Re-testing on identical tasks is the only honest read on whether the work landed.

Claim discipline

What we will never claim.

Brain training has an overclaiming problem. Here is where our line sits, written down so you can hold us to it.

No point promises.

We will never tell you how many IQ points a programme will add. Nobody can price that honestly, and the studies reporting gains report group averages with wide individual spread underneath them.

Near transfer is the strong result.

Evidence that training improves untrained memory and speed tasks is solid. Evidence for far transfer, meaning a lift in general intelligence itself, is small and inconsistent. We do not claim it.

Your curve, not an average.

Every figure we show you is drawn from your own sessions. We never put a stock progress chart in front of you and imply that it is yours.

This is not a diagnosis.

Results are indicative of performance on these specific tasks. They are not a clinical assessment and should not be read as one.

Start with the reading

Take the reading. Then start the work.

You bring the attention. We take the reading, and the reading is how you know the work landed.
